How do i fix my nintendo wii remote?
I was playing on my wii and i bashed the remote on the sofa and now the remote will turn on and point at the screen but the motion sensor doesn't do anything like when you try to hit wi the baseball bat. please help me
(i copied the question of from somebody else, everything is exact the same except i didnt bash the remote or anything like that)

I know this will sound crazy... but TRUST ME.
What has happened is the gyroscope has been reset at an incorrect realignment when you banged it against the sofa. So now it is set to a funk position.
to fix this:
hold the Wii remote directly at the screen about 3-4 feet away. Next, BANG the hell out of the remote with your other hand. (I used a book). It will need to be a fairly hard hit, but don't go nuts.
This will cause the gyroscope to reset with the sensor in the proper position.
