Anybody using an LCD TV 1080p as a computer monitor?

I'm considering on buying an HD 1080p LCD TV to use as a computer monitor. I'm a little unsure about several things though.

Currently, I have a 24" 1080p Dell monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. I'm looking at a Sharp AQUOS 1080p 1920x1080 32" LCD TV. Thing is, it's the same resolution, but the Sharp is bigger. Will my images look stretched?

How does text look? Does text look crisp and clear?

From a typical 2-2.5 foot range from eyes-to-tv, does the tv still look good? Does it look boxy? Are images and text sharp?

I'm just kind of weery about dumping 749 bucks on a 32" LCD TV if the picture won't look "amazing" on my computer.

Note - I have a beefy graphics card with DVI out. I plan to use an DVI-to-HDMI cable to go from my graphics card to LCD TV.

Opinions?

I'm using a 52" LCD HDTV as my monitor, displaying 1920x1080 using a DVI-to-HDMI cable, and I love it. Check it out: http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f347/armchairaviator/computer/IMG_0880c.jpg

Your proposed setup should work just fine!

The image will look larger, the text will be LOTS easier to read because it will be bigger, and no the images won't be stretched because the TV is built for 1920x1080 resolution with the right 16:9 aspect ratio.

Hope you enjoy your setup as much as I do mine!
