i am using 2.66 ghz cpu & my cpu cooler is dead (cooling fan) i tried to buy new one but no one has it. ?
that original cpu fan was running at 5000 RPM and i baught new one that runs at 3000 RPM my cpu need more cooling. (i have studied that ) ....................wht should i do ?
Your CPU fan depends on the type of board that you have as you might have known from your study. So remove the fan, and check in the stores for it. But if you can not find that type that you have with you there are other options that may likely fit into your board.
The most extreme option is that you just go ahead and change your board so that you will have the type of cooler or fan that is available in the market these days. But all these depends totally on the type of CPU or processors that you have on board which means of course that you are might be considering buying so many other things which if these is the case, I will suggest that you trade your present system, add some money and just buy a new computer...
The final option just in case you don't like my other proposal is that you just go ahead and check with some of the technicians, they may just have a similar fan that will work with your system.
